Setting Space With Sacred Intention
More often than not, our sessions will open and close in the posture and prayerful channel of The Puja.
Ayurvedic bodywork in its most potent expression calls for the purest intentions of both the giver and receiver, utilizing prayerful intent and impeccable inner awareness. The Puja serves as a unifying bond between the practitioner and the client, allowing the dance and flow of energy between them to establish with trust, autonomy, and intimacy.
Resetting the Puja
We may return to this posture many times during a session, either to reset and allow the body to center once again after changing positions on the mat, or to deepen the meditative experience and call in even more focus, energy, and healing.
I find that these resets and returns to stillness bring deeper and deeper lines of trust and relaxation to both the receiver and the giver – as we are always weaving and calling in the Highest Healing and healthiest pathways for deep restoration and wellness.
The element of Loving Touch in Sacred Form is amplified through the potent hands-on Puja and may very well be the only posture needed to achieve maximum healing.
