You can be located on the other side of the planet from your Reiki practitioner and absolutely still receive the full expression and benefits of this loving energetic intelligence. This is why simply listening to a recording or watching a video offered by a Reiki practitioner works. Your saying yes to receiving opens a channel within you, and Reiki moves intelligently through you exactly, precisely, and Divinely as it is needed. Vedic Thai Bodywork (a.k.a. Ayurvedic Assisted Asana or Thai Yoga Stretch) is an ancient healing folk art that was developed tens of thousands of years ago in the Ayurvedic traditions which allow a surrendering release that makes way for deeper and deeper physical and mental ‘openings’.

Flowing rhythmic compressions using the feet, knees, palms, elbows, forearms and fingers are blended with exotic stretching positions known as asanas and disciplined breath control known as pranayama, effectively producing a balanced and harmonious symbiotic communication integrating the body’s vital systems, including mechanical-musculoskeletal, electrical-neural, and chemical-glandular.

Vedic Thai Bodywork as a practice has many benefits that are supported by modern science. It has been found to reduce the severity of headaches, decrease lower back and joint pain, increase flexibility and stamina, calm anxieties, and to energize the body, mind, and spirit. Whereas traditional Western therapeutic massage is a passive modality, Vedic Thai Bodywork is an ACTIVE modality, engaging the body’s wisdom and intelligence to achieve deep, somatic healing.

My formal training in this beautiful, intuitive healing modality was received and passed on through The Vedic Conservatory.
